Accounts Assistant – London 311 views

An Accounts Assistant is required by a top insurance firm in London.

 

Location: London
Functional Area: IT
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Education: GCSE or equivalent

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Month end financial processes
  • Accrual processes
  • Producing and commentating on MI using standard and adapted methods
  • Discussing outputs with senior managers
  • Assisting Portfolio managers in tracking their costs
  • Validating Project Manager financials
  • Invoices processing and approval

Key requirements:

  • Experience with project financial analysis
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with providing MI to stakeholders
  • Studying towards an ACCA/CIMA qualification
  • Ability to communicate with a varied levels of staff
  • Self-motivated

Experience and Background:

  • Good  general IT skills
  • Organised and able to meet strict monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines.
  • Very good people and communication skills
