Citizens Advice is looking for a Senior Policy Researcher to provide 9 months maternity cover in the Families, Welfare and Work team either full time or part time.
This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in a high-performing policy team covering topics that have a large impact on people in a complex political landscape.
This role would be contributing to Citizens Advice’s flagship projects on Universal Credit, disability benefits and insecure employment by leading policy research projects and ensuring the organisation achieves change for the people it helps.
A third of the advice given by Citizens Advice is on benefits issues. The role will combine this unique Citizens Advice insight and data with primary research to build and advocate for policy solutions to the underlying causes of the problems people come to the organisation about.
Ideal candidates will have experience of leading high impact policy research work, excellent political judgement and communication skills and a track record of delivering change.
